NEST 2024 Admission Online Apply: Admission to 5-year Integrated MSc Programmes in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics at NISER (Bhubaneswar) and UM-DAE CEBS (Mumbai) (Autonomous institutions under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India). The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a compulsory test for admission to the 5-year Integrated MSc programme in basic sciences – Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics – at National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. NEST 2024 will be conducted in over 120 towns and cities all over India on June 30, 2024 (Sunday).

The candidates admitted to the programme are eligible to receive an annual scholarship of Rs 60,000 through DISHA program of Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. In addition, the scholarship recipients receive a grant of Rs.20,000 per annum for summer internship. Candidates selected by DST for the INSPIRE-SHE program are endorsed for INSPIRE scholarship by NISER and CEBS.

About UM-DAE CEBS

The Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has an autonomous Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences in Mumbai. CEBS offers high quality teaching embedded in a vibrant post-graduate and research environment with some of the best teachers and scientists from major institutions in the city (TIFR, BARC, IIT) and the University of Mumbai and its colleges, as its faculty. The Centre is located in the Vidyanagari campus of the University of Mumbai. CEBS offers a 5 year integrated M.Sc. programme in Biological, Chemical, Mathematical and Physical sciences. The degrees at CEBS are awarded by the 150-year old University of Mumbai.
Tentatively, there are 57 seats this year with reservations as per government norms.2 supernumerary seats are reserved for eligible candidates from J&K and Ladakh. About NEST

National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a compulsory test for students seeking admission to National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. Both NISER and UM-DAE CEBS were set up by Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India in 2007. Their mandate is to train scientific manpower for carrying out cutting edge scientific research and for providing input to scientific programmes of Department of Atomic Energy and other applied science institutions in the country. NEST 2024 will be conducted in around 120 cities [see list] cities across India.

The candidates admitted to the programme in NISER, or CEBS, are eligible to receive an annual scholarship of Rs 60,000 through the DISHA program of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. In addition, the scholarship recipients receive a grant of Rs 20,000 per annum for the summer internship. Alumni of the programme are presently pursuing Ph.D. at reputed universities and institutes in India & abroad. Besides, top performers at NISER and CEBS, securing overall grades above a certain threshold at the end of the programme, are eligible to appear directly for the interview for admission to Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) training school.

NISER, Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE CEBS, Mumbai are in compliance with the UGC and Govt. of India guidelines on anti-ragging. About NISER

NISER offers a 5 year integrated M.Sc. programme in Biological, Chemical, Mathematical and Physical sciences. Along with the major subject, a student can have minor in Biology, Chemistry, Computer science, Mathematics or, Physics. NISER functions from its campus at Jatni. Degrees at NISER will be awarded by the Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI), a deemed-to-be University within the Department of Atomic Energy.

There are a total of 200 seats this year, which include reserved seats for SC/ST/OBC/Divyangjan candidates as per Government norms. 2 supernumerary seats are reserved for eligible candidates from J&K and Ladakh. If offered admission under the OBC-NCL category, the candidate must produce the relevant valid certificate on the date of admission. NEST 2021 Result Released 

NEST 2021 exam was held on 14th August. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held in June, but it had to be postponed due to the Kovid 19 epidemic. The result of this test has been announced. Further details are as follows:-

NEST 2021 परीक्षा १४ ऑगस्ट रोजी आयोजित केली होती. यापूर्वी ही परीक्षा जूनमध्ये आयोजित करण्यात येणार होती, पण कोविड १९ महामारीमुळे ही परीक्षा स्थगित करावी लागली होती. या परीक्षेचा निकाल जाहीर झाला आहे. ज्या उमेदवारांनी ही परीक्षा दिली आहे, ते निकाल NISER ची अधिकृत वेबसाइट nestexam.in वर जाऊन पाहू शकतात.

NEST 2021 Answer Key

Nest 2021 : The National Institute of Science Education and Research has released the answer key to the National Entrance Screening Test. The entrance test was held on August 14. NEST’s Provisional Answer-Key and Answer Sheet will be sent to all the candidates on their registered email ID. Students who sat for this exam will be able to view this answer sheet. 

नॅशनल इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ सायन्स एज्युकेशन अँड रिसर्चने नॅशनल एंट्रन्स स्क्रीनिंग टेस्टची आन्सर की जारी केली आहे. ही प्रवेश परीक्षा १४ ऑगस्ट रोजी आयोजित करण्यात आली होती. NEST ची प्रोव्हिजनल आन्सर-की आणि आन्सरशीट सर्व उमेदवारांना त्यांच्या रजिस्टर्ड ईमेल आईडी वर पाठवण्यात येईल. जे विद्यार्थी या परीक्षेला बसले होते, ते ही उत्तरतालिक पाहू शकतील.

याव्यतिरिक्त जर कोणत्या उमेदवाराला उत्तरतालिकेबाबत हरकत असेल ते हरकती नोंदवू शकतात. पुढील ईमेल आयडीवर उमेदवार हरकती नोंदवू शकतात. उमेदवारांनी हे ध्यानात घ्यावे की exam@niser.ac.in पर प्रश्नांची एक प्रत जोडावी लागेल. ईमेल च्या सब्जेक्ट मध्ये प्रश्न आयडी वगैरै माहिती नमूद करावी लागेल. आपला मुद्दा संक्षिप्तपणे मांडावा. सर्व वैध प्रश्न विचारात घेतले जातील.

नॅशनल इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ सायन्स एज्युकेशन अँड रिसर्च (NISER) संस्थेने नॅशनल एन्ट्रन्स स्क्रीनिंग टेस्ट (National Entrance Screening Test, NEST) ची सुधारित तारीख जारी केली आहे. नव्या वेळापत्रकानुसार ही परीक्षा १४ ऑगस्ट रोजी होणार आहे.

नॅशनल एंट्रंस स्क्रीनिंग टेस्ट (नेस्ट) २०२१ परीक्षा स्थगित करण्यात आली होती. करोना प्रादुर्भावाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर ही परीक्षा पुढची सूचना येईपर्यंत स्थगित करण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला. एनइएसटी सीबीटीसाठी अर्ज करण्याची मुदत देखील त्यामुळे वाढवण्यात आली आहे. पात्र उमेदवार १५ जुलैपर्यंत ऑनलाइन अर्ज करु शकतात. ऑनलाइन अर्ज प्रक्रियेला २४ फेब्रुवारी पासून सुरुवात झाली होती. NEST 2021 परीक्षेचे अॅडमिट कार्ड ३ ऑगस्ट २०२१ रोजी जारी केले जाणार आहेत. NEST 2021 चा निकाल १ सप्टेंबर २०२१ रोजी जाहीर केला जाणार आहे.
