नाशिक महापालिकेच्या अग्निशमन दलावरच सध्या मोठी आपत्ती ओढवली आहे. मंजूर असलेली शेकडो पदे अद्यापही रिक्त असल्याने येत्या सिंहस्थ कुंभमेळ्याच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर अग्निशमन दलाची कार्यक्षमता मोठ्या प्रमाणात कमी होण्याची शक्यता व्यक्त होत आहे. त्यामुळे रिक्त पदांवर तत्काळ भरती करण्याची मागणी महापालिकेने शासनाकडे केली आहे. दोन दिवसांपूर्वीच महापालिका आयुक्तांच्या सहीने हा प्रस्ताव शासनाकडे पाठवण्यात आला आहे. महापालिकेच्या अग्निशमन विभागासाठी एकूण ५२९ पदे शासनाने मंजूर केलेली आहेत. मात्र सध्या प्रत्यक्षात फक्त १०१ कर्मचारी कार्यरत असून तब्बल ४२८ पदे रिक्त आहेत. यामुळे संपूर्ण विभागावर ताण निर्माण झाला आहे. या पार्श्वभूमीवर २४६ अधिकाऱ्यांची व कर्मचाऱ्यांची तातडीने भरती करण्याची मागणी शासनाकडे करण्यात आली आहे. या प्रस्तावित भरतीमध्ये स्टेशन मास्टर ३, सबऑफिसर ९, वाहनचालक ३० तसेच २०४ फायरमन यांचा समावेश आहे. मागील दीड वर्षांपासून ही भरती रखडल्याने नाशिक महापालिकेच्या अग्निशमन दलावर गंभीर परिणाम झाला आहे. शहराचा प्रचंड विस्तार, उंच इमारतींचे वाढते बांधकाम, औद्योगिक परिसरात वाढणारी आग-अपघातांची प्रकरणे आणि आगामी सिंहस्थ काळातील लाखोंच्या गर्दीचे व्यवस्थापन या सगळ्याचा विचार करता दलाला पुरेसे मनुष्यबळ उपलब्ध असणे अत्यावश्यक आहे. महापालिकेने यापूर्वीही शासनाकडे या भरतीची मागणी केली होती. मात्र अद्याप कोणताही ठोस निर्णय झाला नाही. त्यामुळे मुख्यमंत्री आणि राज्याचे प्रधान सचिव यांच्याकडे तातडीने या भरतीसंदर्भात पाठपुरावा सुरू असल्याची माहिती मिळाली आहे. नागरिकांच्या सुरक्षेसाठी आणि आपत्ती व्यवस्थापनाच्या दृष्टीने ही भरती वेळेवर होणे गरजेचे आहे. या भरती संदर्भातील पुढील सर्व अपडेट्स वेळेवर मिळण्यासाठी महाभरतीची अधिकृत मोबाईल अँप येथे क्लिक करून लगेच आपल्या मोबाईल मध्ये डाउनलोड करा.

मंजुर पदांवर भरतीसाठी प्रयत्न सुरू आहेत. सध्या फक्त १०१ मनुष्यबळावर काम सुरू आहे. शासनाला पत्र पाठवले असून शासनाने भरतीची मंजुरी दिल्यास त्वरित कार्यवाही सुरू होणार आहे.

The government has approved a total of 529 posts for the Municipal Corporation’s fire department. However, currently only 101 employees are actually working and as many as 428 posts are vacant. This has created stress on the entire department. Against this backdrop, a demand has been made to the government to immediately recruit 246 officers and employees. This proposed recruitment includes 3 station masters, 9 sub-officers, 30 drivers and 204 firemen. The delay in this recruitment for the past one and a half years has seriously affected the Nashik Municipal Corporation’s fire department. Considering the huge expansion of the city, the increasing construction of high-rise buildings, the increasing cases of fire and accidents in industrial areas and the management of the crowd of lakhs during the upcoming Simhastha period, it is essential that the force has sufficient manpower. The Municipal Corporation had earlier also demanded this recruitment from the government. However, no concrete decision has been taken yet. Therefore, it has been informed that the Chief Minister and the Principal Secretary of the state are immediately following up on this recruitment.
