SSC Stenographer Cut Off 2022 – Based on the performance of the candidates in the Computer Based Examination, 13100 candidates have provisionally qualified for appearing in the Skill Test for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 47246 candidates have provisionally qualified for appearing in the Skill Test for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’. The cut–off marks fixed by the Commission in the Computer Based Examination and the number of candidates qualified under different categories are as under :

How SSC Steno Cut Off is Decided?

Commission has fixed the category wise cut-off on percentage of error/ mistakes allowed  in Skill Test as under:
(i) Stenographer Grade ‘C’: up to 5% mistakes for UR and up to 7% mistakes  for all reserved category candidates.
(ii) Stenographer Grade ‘D’: up to 7% mistakes for UR and up to 10% mistakes for all  reserved category candidates

The Commission has called candidates in the following approx ratio (vacancies:  candidates available) for appearing in Document Verification:
(i) upto 10 vacancies : 1 : 3
(ii) more than 10 vacancies : 1 : 2.5

SSC Steno minimum qualifying marks in Computer Based Examination are fixed as follows:

(i) UR: 30%
(ii) OBC/ EWS: 25%
(iii) All other categories (SC, ST, PwD, ESM, etc): 20%
