According to new information received, recruitment in various local self-government banks in the state of Maharashtra may begin soon. Under this, the recruitment process for many positions within the banks will be initiated soon. This is likely to create job opportunities for thousands of candidates. This has certainly revived the hopes of thousands of candidates for jobs. It remains to be seen exactly when this recruitment process will begin.

The vacant Class 3 and Class 4 positions in the local self-government bodies of the state are to be filled as soon as possible under this Swarajya Sanstha Bharti Process. Minister of State Madhuri Misal stated in the Legislative Assembly that additional responsibilities have been assigned to officials so that the functioning of the municipalities is not affected by the vacancies. There are 112,769 vacant positions in the local self-government bodies in the state. The lack of sufficient staff and officials in Municipal Councils, Municipalities, Nagar Panchayats, and Municipal Corporations is affecting their operations. This, in turn, is impacting civic development work. Sulabha Gaikwad presented a notice of urgent public importance regarding this matter.

राज्यातील स्थानिक स्वराज्य संस्थामधील वर्ग तीन व चारमधील रिक्त पदे लवकरात लवकर भरली जाणार आहेत. रिक्त पदांमुळे पालिकांच्या कामकाजावर परिणाम होऊ नये, यासाठी अधिकाऱ्याकडे अतिरिक्त कार्यभाराचे वाटप केले गेले आहे, असे राज्यमंत्री माधुरी मिसाळ यांनी विधानसभेत सांगितले. राज्यातील स्थानिक स्वराज्य संस्थामध्ये एक लाख १२ हजार ७६९ रिक्त पदे आहेत. नगरपरिषद, नगरपालिका, नगरपंचायती आणि महानगरपालिकांमध्ये कर्मचारी अधिकारी वर्ग नसल्याने पुरेसा कामकाजावर परिणाम होत आहे. त्याचा परिणाम नागरी विकास कामांवर होत आहे, यासंदर्भात सुलभा गायकवाड यांनी लक्षवेधी सूचना मांडली.
