SBI Clerk Exam Pattern, Syllabus 2026: SBI Clerk Syllabus 2026 includes all the topics that a candidate needs to cover for the SBI Clerk Exam 2026. So the SBI Clerk exam consists of two main stages, such as Preliminary and Main Examination. The State Bank of India will release the syllabus both for the Prelims and Mains exam on the official website of SBI. SBI Clerk Prelims examinations is consists of only three subjects i.e. Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language. These subjects have various sub topics & related details. To have the proper knowledge of the types of questions asked in the exam, the candidate must check the SBI Clerk previous year’s question papers also & keep practicing on test series also, But first of all, the candidate should know the detailed syllabus and exam pattern of SBI Clerk 2026.. Preliminary Examination will be conducted tentatively in the month of September 2026 and Main Examination will be conducted tentatively in the month of November 2026.Candidates are advised to check regularly Bank’s website

Each test will have a separate timing as mentioned above. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates are required to score a minimum percentage marks on aggregate. Minimum qualifying marks on aggregate will be as decided by the Bank. No minimum qualifying marks for individual subject are prescribed. Section wise marks will not be maintained.

SBI Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern 2026 – SBI लिपिक प्रिलिम्स परीक्षेचा पेपर पॅटर्न

Online Preliminary Exam consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1-hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows

1. SBI क्लर्क प्रिलिम्स परीक्षेत 3 विभाग असतात. 100 गुणांचे एकूण 100 प्रश्न आहेत.
2. परीक्षेचा एकूण कालावधी १ तासाचा आहे.
3. प्रिलिम्स परीक्षेत निगेटिव्ह मार्किंग असते. प्रत्येक चुकीच्या उत्तरासाठी 0.25 गुण वजा केले जातील.
4. सर्व विभागांसाठी स्वतंत्र वेळ आहे.
5. या परीक्षेसाठी कोणताही विभागीय कटऑफ नाही.
6. या परीक्षेसाठी पात्र झाल्यानंतर, उमेदवार मुख्य परीक्षेला बसण्यास पात्र ठरतात.

Phase – III: Local Language Proficiency Test: Provisionally selected candidates not having studied (in class 10th or 12th) any of the specified local language of the State applied, will have to appear in Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT). The pattern of the test will be as follows:
