Junior Engineer (Civil Engineering) (Post Code A):
- Building Materials: Physical and Chemical properties building stones, cement (Portland), Asbestos products. Timber and Wood based Products, laminates, bituminous materials, paints, varnishes etc.
- Surveying: Principles ol surveying, plane table surveying, theodolite, leveling and contouring, curvature, permanent adjustment of dumpy level, methods of contouring, tachometric survey etc.
- Soil Mechanics: void ratio, porosity, saturation, water conlent. specific gravity of soil grains and unit weights, grain size, Atterberg’s limits, soil classification, plasticity chart, permeability, consolidation of soils. Lab tests, moisture content, bearing capacity of soils, plate load test, standard penetration test etc. Estimating. Costing and Valuation: Estimate, analysis of rates, earthwork. Brick, RCC work shuttering. Painting. Flooring, Plastenng flexible pavements, Tube well, isolates and combined footings, Steel Truss. Piles etc.
- Transportation Engineering: Types of pavements, pavement materials-aggregates and bitumen, Design of flexible and rigid pavements, bituminous construction, rigid pavement joint, pavement maintenance, Railway Engineering. Environmental Engineering: Quality of water, purification, distribution, sanitation, sewerage and sewage treatments. .

FCI Category 3 SKILL TEST:
Candidates applying for the Post of Steno. Grade-ll (Post code-C) will need to take Paper -III in Phase II for Online Test Thereafter the candidates will undergo a Skill-Test in typing and shorthand which will be of qualifying nature. The language of Skill Test i.e (Typing. Short Hand) will be in English. The candidates shall be informed about the venue of skill/typing test through website (https/www.fcigovin). The candidates are advised to keep in touch through the website. The final merit for the post of Steno. Grade-ll will be decided on the basis of Paper-Ill subject to qualifying the Skill Test

i फेज-I ऑनलाइन परीक्षेत मिळालेले गुण अंतिम गुणवत्ता यादीसाठी गणले जाणार नाहीत. जाहिरात केलेल्या रिक्त पदांच्या पंधरा पट उमेदवारांना फेज-II परीक्षेसाठी बोलावले जाईल.

iv पोस्ट कोड-एच साठी ऑनलाइन चाचणीचे गुणवत्तेचा निर्णय उमेदवारांनी पेपर – III आणि पेपर- IV या दोन्हीमधील एकत्रित गुणांच्या आधारावर केला जाईल.
v. व्यवस्थापक (सामान्य/ आगार/ हालचाल/ खाती/ तांत्रिक/ स्थापत्य अभियांत्रिकी/ इलेक्ट्रिकल मेकॅनिकल अभियांत्रिकी):- अनारक्षित श्रेणींसाठी / आर्थिकदृष्ट्या कमकुवत उमेदवारांना फेज-II च्या ऑनलाइन चाचणीमध्ये किमान 50% गुणांच्या निकषांवर मुलाखतीसाठी निवडले जावे. विभाग आणि SC, ST, OBC आणि बेंचमार्क अपंग व्यक्ती (PwBD) साठी 45% गुण. मुलाखतीसाठी बोलावल्या जाणाऱ्या उमेदवारांची संख्या ही जाहिरात केलेल्या रिक्त पदांच्या संख्येच्या तिप्पट असावी. तथापि, जेथे उमेदवारांची संख्या रिक्त पदांच्या संख्येच्या तिप्पट पेक्षा कमी आहे, तेथे सर्व पात्र उमेदवारांना मुलाखतीसाठी बोलावले जाऊ शकते.

viii ऑनलाइन परीक्षा द्विभाषिक असेल म्हणजे भाषेचे पेपर वगळता इंग्रजी आणि हिंदीमध्ये.
ix व्यवस्थापक (जनरल/ डेपो/ मूव्हमेंट/ अकाउंट्स/ टेक्निकल/ सिव्हिल इंजिनिअरिंग/ इलेक्ट्रिकल मेकॅनिकल इंजिनीअरिंग) च्या बाबतीत, ऑनलाइन चाचणी (फेज-II), मुलाखत आणि प्रशिक्षणासाठी नियुक्त केलेले वजन अनुक्रमे 80%, 10% आणि 10% आहे. प्रशिक्षण यशस्वीरीत्या पूर्ण केल्यानंतर, निवडलेल्या उमेदवारांचा व्यवस्थापक म्हणून नियुक्ती आदेश जारी करण्यासाठी विचार केला जाऊ शकतो आणि अशा उमेदवारांना नियमानुसार परिविक्षाधीन केले जाईल.
