Candidates who are found provisionally eligible during 1^st phase of exam for the post of Constable (Tradesmen) 2026 in BSF are hereby informed that, the 2^nd phase exam i.e Written Examination at various recruitment centres. • BSF कांस्टेबल ट्रेड्समैन लिखित परीक्षा OMR (ऑप्टिकल मार्क रिकॉग्निशन) प्रणाली पर आधारित है।

BSF Trade Test Information in Hindi 2026

Candidates who qualify in PST, PET and documentation will be placed through respective trade test. Each candidate will be allowed to appear in only one trade test. Trade test will be of qualifying nature and will not have any marks. The skills/competencies required for each trade are as follows:-

BSF Tradesman Physical Efficiency Test

For BSF Tradesman Constable recruitment, the physical efficiency of the candidate is also tested to see whether they are a good fit for the challenging job role. For this, the shortlisted candidates have to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The criteria for this test are different for male and female candidates, the details of which are given below:

• For male candidates – Candidates will have to complete a 5 km race in 24 minutes.
• For female candidates – Candidates must complete a 1.6 km race in 8 minutes 30 seconds.
