Eligibility Criteria for Driving Licence Apply

Types of Vehicles allowed Criteria

1. Vehicles without gears with engine capacity up to 50cc – 16 years of age and parental consent.
2. Vehicles with gears – 18 years of age.
   Must be aware of the traffic rules and regulations.
3. Commercial vehicles – 20 years of age (18 years of age in some states)
   Should have completed formal education till 8th grade.
   Should be trained from government or government- affiliated training centre.

वाहन चालक परवाना

वाहन धारक किंवा वाहन चालविणारा व्यक्ती हा वाहन चालविण्यास योग्य आहे.व त्याने तसे प्रशिक्षण घेतलेले आहे.हे वाहन चालक परवाना सुनिश्चित करते.वाहन अधिनियम १९८८ अन्वये सार्वजनिक ठिकाणी वाहन चालविण्यासाठी लायसेन्स आवश्यक असते.

वाहनचालक परवाना प्रकाराद्वारे वय पूर्ण आहे हे दर्शविण्यासाठी जन्म प्रमाणपत्र किंवा शाळा सोडल्याचा दाखला झेरॉक्स सादर करावी लागते.त्याच प्रमाणे पासपोर्ट आकाराचे रंगीत फोटो, निवासी/रहिवासी प्रमाणपत्र, व मेडिकल फिटनेस असल्याचे घोषणापत्र परवाना अर्ज करते वेळी जोडावे लागतात.

या कागदपत्राण बरोबर निश्चित केलेले शुल्क जमा केल्यास कागदपत्रांची सत्यता तपासून वाहनचालक परवानासाठी वाहन चालविण्याचे प्रात्यक्षिक व नियमांची माहिती अशी परीक्षा दिल्यानंतर लर्नर्स/तात्पुरता वाहनचालक परवाना दिला जातो.जर व्यक्ती प्रात्यक्षिक मध्ये नापास झाला तर त्याला पुन्हा परीक्षा देण्याची वेळ येते.

तात्पुरता वाहनचालक परवाना प्राप्ती नंतर ३० ते १८० दिवसांच्या आत स्थायी वाहनचालक परवाना घ्यावा लागतो.त्यासाठी तात्पुरता वाहन परवाना व व्यक्ती ज्या वाहन परवान्यासाठी मागणी करते ते वाहन सोबत घेऊन परीक्षकांसमोर वाहन चालविणे नियमांची माहिती सांगणे या बाबी पूर्ण केल्यास स्थायी वाहन परवाना दिला जातो. ज्याची मुदत दीर्घ असते.

वाहन परवाना मध्ये असे प्रकार पडतात…

1. १. मोटार सायकल ५० सी.सी.
2. २. मोटार सायकल विना गिअर.
3. ३. मोटार सायकल विना गिअर सह.
4. ४. लाईट मोटार व्हेईकल.
5. ५. लाईट मोटार व्हेईकल नॉट ट्रान्सपोर्ट.
6. ६. लाईट मोटार व्हेईकल ट्रान्सपोर्ट.
7. ७. हेवी मोटार व्हेईकल

काही मह्त्वाच्या गोष्टी:-

1. • लर्नर्स लायसेन्स – सहा महिन्यांच्या मुदतीसाठी लायसेन्स.
2. • कायमस्वरूपी लायसेन्स – दीर्घ मुदतीचे लायसेन्स जे प्राप्त करण्यासाठी प्रथम लर्नर्स लायसेन्स आवश्यक असते.
3. • ड्राईव्हिंग लायसेन्स प्राप्त करण्यासाठी लर्नर्स लायसेन्स काढणे बंधनकारक आहे.
4. • विना गिअर ५० सी सी च्या वैयक्तिक वाहना करिता लायसेन्स प्राप्तीसाठी वयाची मर्यादा १६ वर्षे पूर्णची आहे.परंतु यासाठी चालकाला पालकांची परवानगीही आवश्यकता असते. तशी परवानगी मिळाल्यास १६ वर्षे पूर्ण असलेले व्यक्तीला वाहनचालक परवाना काढता येतो.
5. • वैयक्तिक वाहनचालक स्थायी / कायमस्वरूपाचा वाहनचालक परवाना प्राप्तीसाठी वयमर्यादा १८ वर्षे पूर्ण असावे.
6. • अवजड वाहनचालक परवाना प्राप्तीसाठी वय वर्षे २० पूर्ण व वाहनचालविन्याचे नियम व प्रशिक्षण पूर्ण केलेले असावे.

How to Renewal Driving License

An application for renewal shall be entertained not more than one month before the date of expiry of the licence. If the application is late for more than five years after the date of expiry of the licence, the applicant should undergo all the formalities to obtain a fresh licence.

If the application for renewal is made previous to, or not more than 30 days after the date of expiry of the licence, the renewal will be made with effect from the date of its expiry. If the application is made more than 30 days after the date of expiry of the licence, the renewal will be made with effect from the date of receipt of proper application. In such cases a fee of Rs. 30/- will be realised.

1. Driving Licence.
2. Application Form No.2.
3. Form No.1 (Self-declaration as to the physical fitness for Non-Transport Vehicles)
   or
4. Form No. 1A (Medical Certificate for Transport Vehicles only).
5. Fees as prescribed along with user charges

Offline Apply for a Driving License

1. First the applicant will have to visit the nearest RTO office.
2. After that Collect the application form from the office.
3. Fill and submit the form along with the relevant documents.
4. Pay the application fees.
5. Book a slot for the driving license test.
6. Appear for the test.
