Please visit concern Registrar (Birth/Death) office for issuing, printing, verifying or checking the status of birth/death certificate. Check status on official website i.e. https://crsorgi.gov.in/web/index.php/auth/login.

Time Frame to registration of Birth Certificate in Maharashtra

1. Maharashtra birth certificate will be issued within 5 days from the date of application.
2. Every birth that occurs in Maharashtra should be registered at the place of occurrence with concerned registrar office within 21 days from the occurrence.
3. The birth certificate will be issued only if the birth details found Registered in Maharashtra Birth Records.
4. If the birth registration not done within 21 days from its occurrence an affidavit stating the reason for the delay in registration needs to be submitted to the concerned Registrar of that locality.

Rs.25 to Rs.30 is to be paid for obtaining a birth certificate in Maharashtra.
