TET – Certificate 2021 Validity Life Time : The government has decided to increase the validity period of TET Qualifying Certificate issued from 07 years to life time since 2011. He said that the Union Territories will take necessary action to issue fresh Teacher Eligibility Test certificates to those candidates whose period of 07 years has already expired.

Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is one of the qualifications required for a person to get appointed as a teacher in schools. As per the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) guidelines dated 11 February 2011, Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted by state governments and the validity of Teacher Eligibility Test certificate is 7 years from the date of passing Teacher Eligibility Test. By changing this rule, the validity of this certificate has now been made lifelong.
