TNTET 2022 online application form releasing at trb.tn.nic.in
Tamil Nadu TET Online Application 2022: Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board applications are invited only through online mode for Teacher Eligibility Test, Paper – I and Paper – II for the year 2022 from the eligible candidates in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board will release the online application form today for Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2022. Interested candidates will be able to apply for the test at trb.tn.nic.in. The last date for submission of the online application is April 13.
The date for TNTET 2022 Paper I and II will be announced later. The exam will consist of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for a duration of 3 hours. TNTET will be conducted to determine the eligibility of teachers in schools across Tamil Nadu.

How to Apply Online for TNTET 2022?
The TN TET 2022 application form will be available online only at trb.tn.nic.in from 14 March to 13 April 2022. Begin your online application for TN TET 2022 by providing all of the required information and paying the application fee. Please ensure that your online application is submitted by June 4, 2022. The steps to completing the online application form are as follows:
- Visit to the Tamil Nadu TET official website trb.tn.nic.in
- Then, choose the paper for which you wish to apply.
- Following the selection, the TNTET Application Form will be displayed.
- Enter your personal, academic, and other information here.
- Scan and upload your photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG/PNG format.
- The size of the photograph should be between 20-60 kB, and the size of the signature should be between 10-30 kB.
- Now, pay the application fee as per the Category.
Minimum Educational Qualifications to write TNTET Paper-I (for classes I-V)
Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Or
Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
Or
Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
Or
Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Or
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Or
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.,).
Minimum Educational Qualifications to write TNTET Paper- II (for classes VI-VIII).(Graduate teacher (Related subjects, Tamil, English and other than Tamil and English languages)
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Or
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
Or
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations.
Or
Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
Or
Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed.
Or
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of B.Ed. (Special Education).
Or
Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. programme, recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TNTET. Moreover, as per existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11.02.2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TNTET.
Age Limit:-
The candidates must be minimum of 18 years old. There is no upper age limit
Procedure to Apply:
a) Candidates should apply only through online mode in the TRB website http://www.trb.tn.nic.in
b) Use separate application for Paper-I and Paper-II.
c) Candidates should ensure that they have their scanned recent colour passport size photograph (JPG/JPEG /PNG format of size 20-60 KB) and signature (JPG/JPEG/PNG format of size 10-30 KB) separately. The online application should be uploaded with the photograph and signature of the candidate with complete information.
d) A valid e-mail id and Mobile Number are mandatory for registration and
e-mail id should be kept active till the declaration of results
e) All the particulars mentioned in the online application including name of the candidate, paper applied, communal category, date of birth, address and all other fields will be considered as final. Candidates are requested to fill the online application form with utmost care and caution as no correspondence regarding change of details will be entertained. Incomplete or defective applications shall be summarily rejected.
f) The online application can be submitted up to 13.04.2022 till 05.00 p.m. after which the link gets disabled.
g) Candidates are only fully responsible for all the details and documents submitted along with the application. Candidates have to go through all the instruction carefully and carefully fill up details and upload document.
h) The online application without candidate’s photograph and signature and incomplete information will be rejected.
i) No representation or correspondence regarding such rejection shall be entertained under any circumstances.

Examination Fee
The Examination fee is Rs 500 for all reserved candidates and Rs 250 SC, SCA, ST and Person with Disability.
