The application for Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) has begun. Students seeking admission to Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture, Medical and allied professional degree courses in the state’s institutes can apply online at cee.kerala.gov.in. The KEAM application window will remain open till June 21. The eligibility test for Engineering will be conducted on July 24. Apply Online

KEAM 2021 Admit Card : Kerala Engineering, Architecture, Medical (KEAM) 2021 admit cards have been released. Students can login to the candidate portal at cee.kerala.gov.in and download their hall tickets. The state-level entrance exam will be conducted on August 5. Earlier it was scheduled for July 24 but the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala decided to postpone it as the exam date clashed with the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021.

Admission to Engineering Courses- keam
Admission to Engineering Courses in Kerala is based on the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala. Engineering rank is prepared by giving equal weightage of 50:50 to the score obtained in the Entrance Examination conducted by CEE for Engineering and the marks obtained in the final year of the qualifying examination for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together, after effecting the standardization procedure as described in Clause 9.7.4 (b)(iii).
Admission to Pharmacy Course- keam
B.Pharm Rank list will be prepared, as per Clause 9.7.4 (f), on the basis of Index mark calculated from the score obtained in Paper-1 (Physics & Chemistry) of the Engineering Entrance Examination.
Admission to Medical & Allied Courses- keam
Admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BHMS, BUMS, Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Veterinary, Co-operation & Banking, Climate Change & Environmental Science, B.Tech Biotechnology courses will be based on NEET-UG 2021. Those candidates who wish to be considered for the allotment in Medical & Allied Courses in Kerala State should be qualified in NEET-UG 2021.
Admission to Architecture course-keam
The Architecture Rank list will be prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations by giving equal weightage to the marks obtained in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), conducted by the Council of Architecture, and the marks in the qualifying examination.

UPDATE: B.Tech applications open at Manipal Institute of Technology Apply

As per the KEAM prospectus, candidates who have passed Kerala Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects and Chemistry as optional (to be substituted by Computer Science or Biotechnology or Biology, as the case may be) with at least 45 per cent marks will be eligible to apply. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be given relaxation of five per cent marks.

Documents Required For KEAM 2021- Registration

  • Non-creamy layer certificate for state education purpose

  • Caste certificate

  • Community certificate

  • Income certificate from the village officer

  • Non-Creamy Layer Certificates from the village officer

  • Identity proof including birth certificate or school certificate

  • Economically-weaker section certificate (if applicable)

  • Community certificate (if applicable)

The NRI candidates will have to submit an additional list of documents such as passport copy, employment certificate from embassy, relationship certificate of the sponsor or student and an affidavit.

While Paper 1 of KEAM – Physics and Chemistry paper will be held in the morning session from 10 am to 12.30 pm, Paper 2 Mathematics will be held in the afternoon session from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. Candidates have to answer 120 questions under each paper carrying four marks each in KEAM 2021. For every incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted.
