Covid-19: Those in the age group of 18 to 44 years can register on CoWIN. Registrations opened on April 28 and are continuing. How to register?
Individuals can register themselves for phase 3 drive-by following these steps:
- Open https://www.cowin.gov.in/home on your mobile/laptop web browser
- OR Open CoWin tab on Aarogya Setu or Umang apps and go to the vaccination registration option
- Click on the “register/sign-in” option.
- Enter your mobile number and click on generate OTP option.
- After receiving the OTP, enter it and ‘verify’
- Once the verification of your mobile number with OTP is done, register on the vaccination page by providing required details like name, age, gender and photo ID details.
- Click on “Register” and then click on the ‘Schedule’ option.
- Enter the pin code of your locality, or select from the list of states and then districts

- Appointment for Age 18 to 44 is based on slots made available by the private vaccinations centers as well as the respective state government.
- The minimum age for each vaccination center is displayed with the name of the vaccination center. Appointment slots are available where the age displayed is 18+.
- More Appointment slots will soon be offered. If slots are not currently available, please check again after sometime. We request your patience and understanding.
- To add multiple individuals in a single Dose 2 appointment, the vaccine and Dose 1 date must be same.
- The second dose of COVAXIN should be taken between 28 days to 42 days after the first dose.The second dose of COVISHIELD should be taken between 28 days to 56 days after the first dose.

Vaccine Registration Process
- For registration, you have to download the Cowin portal, Aarogya Setu app, or Arogya Setu app.
- In the next step, you have to open the app and click on the option of vaccination.
- Now verify the mobile number you have entered by OTP.
- Enter your Aadhaar number or Voter ID card number in the id proof you are asked for.
- Now you have to enter your nearest PIN code and select the nearest health center.
- Once the health center is selected, you will be given a time slot based on the availability of the vaccine.
- From the given vaccine time slot, select the date and time to get the vaccine at your convenience.
- With one mobile, you can register for up to 4 citizens.
- Registration will be done after the selection of the time slot.

Online registration and appointment can be done through Co-WIN portal.
You will have to give some basic information about yourself and details of your photo identification card to get yourself registered online.
From one mobile phone number, one can register 4 people, however, each person will need their own photo identification document.
If Aadhar card is used as identification document, consent will be obtained and recorded.
Through the portal, you can find out the list of available CVCs and dates and time of available vaccination slots, to book an appointment as per your choice. You will need an OTP verification prior to registration and a confirmation slip/token will be generated after registration. You will also get a confirmatory sms later.
For all Private Hospitals, prior registration and appointment will be the only method of registration.
For Government hospitals, a proportion of slots will be available for online registration and appointment, the rest will be kept for on site registration and vaccination.
Appointments for any date for a Vaccination Center will be closed at 12:00 pm on the day prior to the date.
