SSC JE Exam Date 2024-25

The Paper-I & Paper-II will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions only. The questions will be set both in Hindi & English. Questions in both papers will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. Questions will be set in Hindi and English in Parts-I, II and III of Paper-I and Paper-II. There will be negative marking equal to one-third of the marks allotted to the question for each wrong answer in Paper-I &Paper-II. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.

SSC JE Bharti Exam Pattern 2024| What is the pattern of SSC JE exam?

The candidates will be required to attempt the General Engineering part (i.e. Part-A, Part-B or Part-C) in Paper-I and Paper-II, which have been selected by candidates, on the basis of their Educational Qualification, in the online application form. In other words, the candidates appearing for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) / Junior Engineer (Quantity Surveying & Contracts) are required to attempt Part-A (Civil & Structural) of Paper-I and Paper-II and the candidates appearing for the post of Junior Engineer (Electrical) are required to attempt Part-B (Electrical) and the candidates appearing for the post of Junior Engineer (Mechanical) are required to attempt Part-C (Mechanical) of Paper-I and Paper-II failing which their candidature will be rejected.

The SSC JE 2024 Selection process is done in three stages:

Stage 1: SSC JE Paper 1 Exam

Stage 2: SSC JE Paper 2 Exam

About SSC Junior Engineer Exam 2024

• पेपर-I मध्ये केवळ वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रकार, बहुपर्यायी प्रश्न असतील. प्रश्न इंग्रजी आणि हिंदी दोन्हीमध्ये सेट केले जातील.
• पेपर-1 मधील प्रत्येक चुकीच्या उत्तरासाठी 0.25 गुणांचे नकारात्मक गुण असतील. त्यामुळे उमेदवारांनी प्रश्नांची उत्तरे देताना हे लक्षात ठेवा .
• उमेदवारांना त्यांची स्वतःची स्लाइड-नियम, कॅल्क्युलेटर आणण्याची परवानगी आहे, लॉगरिदम सारणी आणि स्टीम टेबल फक्त पेपर-II साठी. त्यांना पेपर-I साठी अशा सहाय्यांचा वापर करण्याची परवानगी नाही.
• पेपर-II हा हिंदी किंवा इंग्रजीमध्ये लिहावा लागेल. भाग पेपर हिंदीत आणि काही भाग इंग्रजीत लिहिल्यास शून्य गुण दिले जातील.

General Intelligence & Reasoning: The Syllabus for General Intelligence would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. The test may include questions on analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, etc. The test will also include questions designed to test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationships, arithmetical computations and other analytical functions.

General Awareness: Questions will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him/her and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity and Scientific Research, etc. These questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.
