Process of Registration

• The registration process will be through online mode only and there will be a single registration for both Preliminary and Main examination, wherever applicable.
• Candidates will be required to upload the following documents as per the specification given in notification.

(1)  Photograph of the Applicant – 20 kb to 50 kb in jpeg file

(2)  Signature of the Applicant – 10 kb to 20 kb in .jpeg file

(3) Thumb impression of the Applicant – 20 kb to 50 kb in .jpeg file

(4)  Scanned Copy of handwritten declaration as per the format, which will be available in the respective notification — 50 kb to 100 kb in jpeg file

IBPS RRB Office Assistant (Clerk) 2026 Exam Pattern:

• The exam has two phases: Preliminary and Mains.

Preliminary Exam:

• Duration: 45 minutes total, with sectional timing

• Sections:

  • Reasoning: 40 questions, 25 minutes, 40 marks

  • Numerical Ability: 40 questions, 20 minutes, 40 marks

• Candidates must clear cut-offs in each section.

• Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.

Mains Exam:

• Duration: 2 hours (120 minutes) total, with sectional timing for each part

• Sections (each 40 questions):

  • Reasoning: 40 questions, 50 marks, 30 minutes

  • General Awareness: 40 questions, 40 marks, 15 minutes

  • Numerical Ability: 40 questions, 50 marks, 30 minutes

  • English/Hindi Language: 40 questions, 40 marks, 30 minutes

  • Computer Knowledge: 40 questions, 20 marks, 15 minutes

• No interview stage; final selection based on Mains marks.

• Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted per incorrect answer.

IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern Overview:

• Prelims: 80 questions, 45 minutes, focus on Reasoning and Numerical Ability.

• Mains: 190 questions, 160 minutes, covering Reasoning, General/Financial Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Computer Aptitude (Reasoning and Computer Aptitude sections are sometimes merged).

• Negative marking applies at 0.25 per wrong answer.

Syllabus Highlights:

• Preliminary Exam: Topics in Reasoning and Numerical Ability, including logical reasoning, puzzles, number series, simplification, data interpretation basics.

• Mains Exam: Broader subjects including:

• नोंदणी प्रक्रिया केवळ ऑनलाइन पद्धतीने होईल आणि जेथे लागू असेल तेथे प्राथमिक आणि मुख्य परीक्षा दोन्हीसाठी एकच नोंदणी असेल.
