Maharashtra Free Sewing Machine Scheme Terms

• Benefit of sewing machine scheme is given only to women in Maharashtra state. Women outside the state of Maharashtra will not be given the benefit of this scheme. Age of female beneficiary should be between 20 to 40 years to avail this scheme.
• Women above 40 years cannot avail the free sewing machine scheme Women from families with an annual income of more than 1.2 lakhs will not be able to avail the benefit of this scheme. Female applicants must have a sewing machine learning certificate. Only economically weaker/poor class women can avail the benefit of this scheme.
• Widow women and disabled women will be given priority in this scheme. If the applicant is a widow, such women are required to attach the death certificate of their husband along with the application. If the applicant is a disabled woman, such certificate should be attached with the application.
