Free bus for women – Out of the six promises made to the people during the assembly election campaign, the Congress started implementing two from today. On the occasion of senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi’s birthday, the Revanth Reddy government launched a free bus service scheme for women. He also increased the limit of Aarogyashree Health Insurance Cover to Rs 10 lakh.
Under the Free Bus Scheme (Mahalaxmi), women will now be able to travel free of cost in express and simple buses of the State Transport Corporation in the state. Apart from this, the Aarogya Shri scheme related to free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh was also unveiled. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy handed over a cheque of Rs 2 crore to world champion, Commonwealth gold medallist boxer Nikhat Zareen to prepare for the Paris Olympics. Other guarantee schemes will be implemented in 100 days,” Reddy said.
He expressed confidence that the government will be run in Telangana through democratic means and Telangana will emerge as a welfare state.

तेलंगणात महिलांना मोफत बस प्रवास

विधानसभा निवडणुकीच्या प्रचारात जनतेला दिलेल्या सहा आश्वासनापैकी काँग्रेसने दोन आश्वासनांची अंमलबजावणी आजपासून सुरू केली. काँग्रेसच्या ज्येष्ठ नेत्या सोनिया गांधी यांच्या वाढदिवसानिमित्ताने रेवंत रेड्डी सरकारने महिलांसाठी मोफत बस सेवा योजना सुरू केली. तसेच आरोग्यश्री आरोग्य विमा कवचची मर्यादा दहा लाखांपर्यंत वाढविली.
मोफत बस योजना (महालक्ष्मी) नुसार महिलांना आता प्रदेशात राज्य परिवहन महामंडळाच्या एक्स्प्रेस आणि साध्या बसमध्ये मोफत प्रवास करता येणार आहे. याशिवाय दहा लाखांपर्यंतच्या मोफत उपचाराशी संबंधित आरोग्य श्री योजनेचे देखील अनावरण करण्यात आले. यावेळी मुख्यमंत्री रेवंत रेड्डी यांनी यावेळी जागतिक अजिंक्यपद विजेता, राष्ट्रकुल सुवर्णपदक विजेता, मुष्टियोद्धा निखत जरीन याला पॅरिस ऑलिंपिकच्या तयारीसाठी दोन कोटी रुपयांचा धनादेश दिला. अन्य हमी योजना शंभर दिवसांत लागू केल्या जातील, असे रेड्डी म्हणाले.
तेलंगणात लोकशाही मार्गाने सरकार चालविण्यात येईल आणि कल्याणकारी राज्य म्हणून तेलंगण नावारुपास येईल, असा विश्वास त्यांनी व्यक्त केला. दरम्यान, कॅबिनेटच्या बैठकीत राज्यातील विजेच्या स्थितीवर चर्चा करण्यात आली. तसेच अधिकाऱ्यांना कृषी क्षेत्रासह सर्व क्षेत्रांना चोवीस तास अखंड विजपुरवठा करण्यासंदर्भातील निर्देश दिले.
