UGC NET Result 2021:  University Grants Commission has released National Eligibility Test  December 2020 and June 2021 sessions results. The result is available on the official website of UGC. The exam was held for 81 subjects in a computer-based test (CBT) mode in a multiple choice question (MCQ) format. The examination was held in 2 shifts for three hours. Candidates belonging to unreserved category will have to score at least 40 per cent marks, while for the reserved category it is 35 per cent to pass the UGC NET test. Candidates will also have to pass each paper separately. NTA had released the answer key of the UGC NET 2021 earlier and candidates were allowed to raise objections. Based on the final objections and deliberations made by UGC, the final results were declared today, February 19.

UGC NET examination was conducted in three phases- on November 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30, December 1, 3, 4, 5, and January 4 and 5, 2022. The exam was conducted in 81 subjects in 837 centres across the country at 239 cities. Around 12 lakh candidates had registered themselves for the examination this year.
