मध्य प्रदेश के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री व कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता दिग्विजय सिंह ने मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान से मांग की है कि मध्य प्रदेश प्रोफेशनल एग्जामिनेशन बोर्ड (एमपीपीईबी) द्वारा कांस्टेबल भर्ती परीक्षा 2020 में पूर्व सैनिकों के लिए 10 प्रतिशत आरक्षण के मद्देनजर परीक्षा परिणाम फिर से जारी किया जाये। सिंह ने मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज चौहान को पत्र लिखकर अनुरोध किया है कि एमपीपीईबी द्वारा कांस्टेबल भर्ती परीक्षा 2020 में पूर्व सैनिकों के लिये आरक्षित 10 प्रतिशत आरक्षण का पालन कराते हुए फिर से परीक्षा परिणाम जारी किया जाये। इसके साथ ही उक्त परीक्षा परिणामों में हुई गड़बड़ी की उच्च स्तर से जांच कराते हुए अभ्यार्थियों को न्याय दिलाने तथा आरक्षण में अनियमितता करने वाले अधिकारियों के खिलाफ मध्यप्रदेश आरक्षण अधिनियम 1994 के प्रावधानों के अनुरूप एफ.आई.आर. दर्ज कराई जाये।

दिग्विजय सिंह ने कहा कि मध्य प्रदेश पुलिस कांस्टेबल भर्ती परीक्षा 2020 में सम्मिलित भूतपूर्व सैनिक एवं महिला अभ्यार्थियों के प्रतिनिधि मंडल ने मुझे बताया गया है कि म.प्र. पुलिस आरक्षक भर्ती परीक्षा वर्ष 2020 में भूतपूर्व सैनिकों को 10 प्रतिशत आरक्षण के लाभ से वंचित रखा गया है। प्रोफेशनल एग्ज़ामिनेशन बोर्ड द्वारा जारी की गई नियम पुस्तिका में भूतपूर्व सैनिकों को 10 प्रतिशत आरक्षण दिये जाने का उल्लेख किया गया था, लेकिन पी.ई.बी. द्वारा जारी किये गये प्रारंभिक परिणामों में आरक्षण प्रक्रिया का पालन नहीं करते हुए परिणाम जारी किये गये है।
