Income Tax Department Educational Qualification Details

• (A) Master’s Degree in Computer Application/Computer Science or M.Tech (specialization in Computer Application), or BE/B.Tech in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Technology.
• (B) Degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, or Electronics/Electronics and Communication Engineering, with two years of experience in electronic data processing (including computer programming).
• (C) Master’s Degree or Degree in Engineering with three years of experience in electronic data processing (including computer programming).
• (D) ‘A’ Level Diploma or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications, with three years of experience in electronic data processing (including computer programming).

Pay Scale:

• Level 7 in the Pay Matrix (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400)
• Pre-revised scale: ₹6,500 – ₹10,500
