Who can apply for Indian Postal Department Franchise?

1. As per the rules of the postal department, the minimum age of the persons willing to take this franchise must have completed 18 years of age while there is no upper age limit.

Selection Process of Postal Department Franchise

1. Under this scheme, in the area in which you want to take franchise, a report will be submitted by the ASP / SDI to the Divisional Head concerned for that area and based on that report, the Divisional Head will select the person who will be eligible to take the franchise.
2. According to the notification of the Department of Posts, the ASP / SDI will report to the Divisional Head of the Post Office based on the information filled in the application. That is, based on the information that people have filled in the application form, a report will be made by ASP / SDI.
3. Within 14 days of the application for taking the franchise, the report of that application shall be submitted to the Divisional Head by the ASP / SDI.
4. The person selected by the Divisional Head will have to sign the ‘Memorandum of Agreement’. Apart from that person, the ‘Memorandum of Agreement’ will be signed by two witnesses, so read it carefully before signing the ‘Memorandum of Agreement’.
5. After signing the agreement, you will get the franchise, although before starting the franchise, the person will also be given training on how to work in the post office.
