Paris Sparsh Yojana for Higher Education

NAAC, NBA evaluation ‘Paris Sparsh Yojana. In order to improve the quality of higher education in the state, a decision was taken in the cabinet meeting held today (5th April 2023) to launch the ‘Paris Sparsh’ scheme to guide the colleges for NAAC, NBA assessment. Out of 3 thousand 346 colleges in the state, 1 thousand 368 colleges have been NACC assessed.

At present 1 thousand 978 colleges have not been NACC assessed. Also 704 technical education colleges have not been assessed by NBA. In this regard, a workshop organized at Mumbai University concluded that colleges need guidance for assessment. It was decided to start ‘Paris Sparsh’ scheme from the state on the lines of University Grants Commission’s consultation scheme. The duration of this scheme will be three years. For this, State Advisory Committee, University Level Committee and District Level Committee will be constituted. Guide organizations will be selected through these committees. An expenditure of Rs.13 crore 50 lakhs was also approved for this scheme

उच्चशिक्षणाला आता ‘परीस स्पर्श’ योजना; राज्य मंत्रिमंडळाचा निर्णय

राज्यातील उच्च शिक्षणाचा दर्जा वाढविण्याच्या दृष्टीने नॅक, एनबीए मूल्यांकनासाठी महाविद्यालयांना मार्गदर्शन व्हावे याकरिता ‘परीस स्पर्श’ योजना सुरु करण्याचा निर्णय बुधवारी झालेल्या मंत्रिमंडळाच्या बैठकीत घेण्यात आला. राज्यात सध्या ३ हजार ३४६ महाविद्यालयांपैकी १ हजार ३६८ महाविद्यालयांचे नॅक मूल्यांकन झाले आहे. सद्य:स्थितीत १ हजार ९७८ महाविद्यालयांचे नॅक मूल्यांकन झालेले नाही. तसेच ७०४ तंत्रशिक्षण महाविद्यालयांचे एनबीए मूल्यांकन झालेले नाही. या संदर्भात मुंबई विद्यापीठामध्ये आयोजित एका कार्यशाळेमध्ये महाविद्यालयांना मूल्यांकनासाठी मार्गदर्शनाची गरज असल्याचा निष्कर्ष काढण्यात आला. त्यानुसार विद्यापीठ अनुदान आयोगाच्या परामर्ष योजनेच्या धर्तीवर राज्याकडून ‘परीस स्पर्श’ योजना सुरु करण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला.

• या योजनेचा कालावधी तीन वर्षांचा राहील.
• यासाठी राज्य सल्लागार समिती, विद्यापीठस्तरीय समिती आणि जिल्हास्तरीय समिती गठित करण्यात येईल.
• या समित्यांमार्फत मार्गदर्शक संस्थांची निवड करण्यात येईल.
• या योजनेसाठी येणाऱ्या १३ कोटी ५० लाख रुपये खर्चास देखील मान्यता देण्यात आली.
