MSRTC Smart Card Free traveling for 75 yrs citizen. Chief Minister Shri. Shinde had on August 16, 2022 announced free travel by ST bus to the senior citizens of the state above 75 years of age. It was launched today. The Senior Citizens above 75 years of age can travel free by paying a zero value class ticket if they show any one of the identity cards issued by the Central and State Governments to the conductor Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Vehicle Licence, Passport, Election Identity Card and Identity Card issued by the Central and State Governments. एसटीचे स्मार्ट कार्ड कधी मिळणार?

1. महाराष्ट्र राज्य मार्ग परिवहन महामंडळाच्या माध्यमातून २१ सामाजिक घटकांना ३३ ते १०० टक्क्यांपर्यंत प्रवास भाड्यामध्ये सवलत दिली जाते. सवलतीमधील गैरप्रकार रोखण्याकरिता महामंडळाने स्मार्ट कार्ड योजना अमलात आणली आहे.
2. केवळ ७५ वर्षे वयांवरील नागरिकांना यातून सूट आहे. उर्वरित सर्व सवलतधारकांना कार्ड गरजेचे आहे. परंतु अनेकांना महामंडळाने कार्ड उपलब्ध करून दिलेले नाही.
3. एसटी महामंडळाच्या प्रवास सवलतीचा लाभ घेणाऱ्यांकडे स्मार्ट कार्ड नसले तरी अधिकृत कागदपत्राच्या आधारे प्रवास करता येतो. कार्ड उपलब्ध करून देण्याची कारवाईसुद्धा वरिष्ठांच्या आदेशानुसार सुरू केली जाणार आहे.

देशाच्या अमृत महोत्सवानिमित्त राज्यातील ७५ वर्षांवरील ज्येष्ठ नागरिकांना एसटी बसमधून मोफत प्रवास योजनेचा लाभ ज्येष्ठ नागरिकांना होणार असून एसटीच्या शिवनेरीसह सर्व सेवांसाठी ही मोफत प्रवास योजना लागू असेल, असे मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे यांनी आज येथे सांगितले. विधीमंडळाच्या समिती कक्षात ७५ वर्षांवरील ज्येष्ठ नागरिकांना मोफत प्रवास योजनेसाठी ज्येष्ठांना प्रमाणपत्रांचे वितरण आणि योजनेचा शुभारंभ आज मुख्यमंत्री श्री. शिंदे, उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांच्या हस्ते झाले. त्यावेळी ते बोलत होते. या योजनेअंतर्गत ७५ वर्षांवरील ज्येष्ठ नागरिकांना बसमधून प्रवासादरम्यान वाहक शून्य मूल्य वर्ग तिकीट देतील. विशेष म्हणजे मोफत प्रवासाची ही सवलत एस टीच्या सर्व सेवांसोबतच शिवनेरी बस सेवेसाठी देखील लागू असणार आहे, असे व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक श्री. चन्ने यांनी प्रास्ताविकात सांगितले.

Features of Discount scheme of MSRTC

1. सवलत योजनेची वैशिष्ट्ये – वातानुकुलीत, शयनयानसह सर्व सेवा प्रकारांमध्ये ही सवलत अनुज्ञेय आहे. ६५ वर्षांवरील ज्येष्ठ नागरिकांना राज्य परिवहन महामंडळाच्या बससेवांमध्ये ५० टक्के सवलत मिळत आहे. आता वातानुकुलीत, शयनयान आणि शिवनेरी या उच्चश्रेणी सेवांनाही ही सवलत लागू होणार आहे.
2. भारतीय स्वातंत्र्याच्या अमृत महोत्सवानिमित्त मुख्यमंत्री श्री. शिंदे यांनी १६ ऑगस्ट २०२२ रोजी राज्यातील ७५ वर्षांवरील ज्येष्ठ नागरिकांना एसटी बसमधून मोफत प्रवासाची घोषणा केली होती. त्याचा शुभारंभ आज झाला.

1.  ७५ वर्षांवरील ज्येष्ठ नागरिकांना बसमधून मोफत प्रवासासाठी आधारकार्ड, पॅनकार्ड, वाहन परवाना, पारपत्र, निवडणूक ओळखपत्र व केंद्र आणि राज्य शासनातर्फे निर्गमित केलेले ओळखपत्र यापैकी कुठलेही एक ओळखपत्र वाहकाला दाखविल्यास शून्य मूल्य वर्गाचे तिकीट देऊन मोफत प्रवास करता येईल.

MSRTC Smart Card Issue

Senior citizens, disabled and other eligible passengers will be required to carry a smart card if they want to travel at discounted rates in State Transport Corporation (ST) buses. Those who do not have a smart card have till 31st August 2022 to issue the card. After that, from 1st Sep. 2022, the smart card holders will be able to travel in ST at a discounted rate.

Currently, senior citizens are being given the benefit of travel concession in ST on the basis of their existing identity cards through the maharashtra.gov.in. The prevailing identity card will be valid till 30th June 2022 and senior citizens will be allowed to travel. On However, from 1st Sep. 2022, these identity cards will not be accepted. Only senior citizens with smart cards will get the benefit of the discount.

राज्य परिवहन महामंडळाच्या (एसटी) बसमध्ये ज्येष्ठ नागरिक, दिव्यांग व इतर सवलतपात्र प्रवाशांना यापुढे सवलतीच्या दरात प्रवास करावयाचा असल्यास स्मार्ट कार्ड बाळगणे बंधनकारक असणार आहे. स्मार्ट कार्ड नसलेल्यांना हे कार्ड काढण्यासाठी ३० जून पर्यंत मुदत देण्यात आली आहे. त्यानंतर १ जुलैपासून स्मार्ट कार्डधारकांना एसटीमध्ये सवलतीच्या दरात प्रवास करता येणार आहे.

MSRTC Smart Card Benefit

1. Smart Card Scheme was started by Maharashtra State Transport Corporation for Senior citizens.
2. Senior citizens above 65 years of age can take advantage of this scheme.
3. Any senior citizen who travels in MSRTC buses will have to get a smart card made, after which there will be a discount in the fare for traveling in MSRTC buses.
4. In st buses, there will be a discount in the fare ranging from 33 to 100 percent
