PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana – Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the PM Surya Ghar: Free Electricity Scheme to provide the benefit of free electricity up to 300 units to the common people. Under this scheme, the central government will invest Rs 75,000 crore. To avail the benefit of free electricity scheme up to 300 units, you will have to do three important things.

The ‘Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Free Electricity’ scheme will provide free electricity up to 300 units to the consumers. As a result, MSEDCL will benefit from reducing the subsidy burden of consumers in such categories. MSEDCL Managing Director Lokesh Chandra urged the employees to encourage the customers to use the scheme.

Mahavitaran’s 19th anniversary was celebrated at MSEDCL headquarters Prakashgarh. Lokesh Chandra was speaking on the occasion. He said that MSEDCL will use solar energy for agriculture as the highest in the country. This will provide sustainable power supply to farmers during the day in the future. The subsidy burden on industrial and commercial consumers will be reduced.

Subsidy will be available along with free electricity

Under the PM Free Electricity Scheme, the Central Government will also provide subsidy, which makes this scheme more special. The subsidy received under this scheme will be sent directly to your bank account. It is very easy to apply under this scheme. You can apply through the official website https://pmsuryaghar.gov.in in just 5 minutes. However, before that you should complete some work.

What three things need to be done to get free electricity?

1. For free electricity (Muft Bijli Yojana), there should be a roof of 130Sq.Feet area. Those living in flats or on rent will not get this benefit.
2. To install solar panels on the roof, first Rs 47 thousand will have to be spent. After this the government will give a subsidy of Rs 18 thousand on it.
3. While applying for this scheme, you will have to provide information about electricity consumption and other things.
