PM Shree Yojana has been started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Through this scheme, 14500 old schools will be upgraded across India. Through this scheme, a modern, transformative and holistic way of imparting education will be brought in the upgraded schools. There will be a special focus on latest technology, smart classes, sports and modern infrastructure. The Prime Minister has told in his tweet that the National Education Policy has changed the education sector in recent years. Through PM SHRI Yojana, the structure of old schools will be made beautiful, strong and attractive. According to some information, at least one PM Shree school will be established in every block of the country and one secondary and senior secondary school in each district of the country will also be linked with this scheme. What is PM Shri Yojana

काय आहे पीएमश्री योजना?

1. या शाळेत नवीन तंत्रज्ञान, स्मार्ट क्लास, खेळ आणि आधुनिक पायाभूत सुविधा यावर विशेष लक्ष देण्यात येईल.
2. शाळेतील विद्यार्थ्यांची उपस्थिती वाढवणे, राज्यातील साक्षरतेचे प्रमाण वाढवण्याचा प्रयत्न केला जाईल.
3. विद्यार्थ्यांच्या गळतीचे प्रमाण कमी करण्यासाठी ही उपायोजना सुचवल्या जातील.
4. राष्ट्रीय शैक्षणिक धोरण या शाळांच्या माध्यमातून अंमलात आणले जाईल.
5. केंद्र सरकारच्या या पथदर्शी प्रकल्पाची अंमलबजावणी राज्यात करण्याचा प्रयत्न आहे.
6. वास्तविक जीवनाशी निगडित प्रात्यक्षिक शिक्षण देण्याचा प्रयत्न या योजनेत आहे.
7. स्मार्ट क्लास, ग्रंथालय, कौशल्य प्रयोग शाळा, खेळाचे मैदान, विज्ञान प्रयोगशाळा अशा आधुनिक सोयी व सुविधा असतील.

‘पीएम श्री’च्या माध्यमातून शाळांचे सक्षमीकरण

देशभरात पहिल्या टप्प्यात 15 हजाराहून अधिक शाळा उच्च दर्जाचे गुणात्मक शिक्षण देणाऱ्या सर्वोत्कृष्ट शाळा म्हणून विकसित करण्यात येणार असून यात राज्यातील 846 शाळांचा समावेश करण्यात येईल.

पीएम श्री योजनेत सहभागी होण्यासाठी राज्य शासनाने केंद्रासमवेत सामंजस्य करार केला आहे. या करारानुसार राष्ट्रीय शैक्षणिक धोरण-2020 राज्यात लागू करण्यात येईल. पीएम श्री योजनेत केंद्राचा 60 टक्के हिस्सा असेल. प्रत्येक शाळेसाठी 1 कोटी 88 लाख एवढी तरतूद पाच वर्षांसाठी करण्यात येईल. या शाळांसाठी पाच वर्षांकरिता केंद्राचा हिस्सा 955 कोटी 98 लाख राहणार असून राज्याचा 40 टक्के हिस्सा प्रती शाळा 75 लाख प्रमाणे 634 कोटी 50 लाख खर्च अपेक्षित आहे. या योजनेतील दुसऱ्या टप्प्यात 408 गट, 28 महानगरपालिका आणि 383 नगरपालिका व नगरपरिषदा यामधून पीएम श्री शाळांची निवड केली जाईल.

What is the purpose of PM Shri?

All the students studying in such schools will be entitled to get a modern and transformed education. The prime aim of the scheme will be to ensure that the schools first into the typical structure of a Model School.

Benefits of Scheme of PM SHRI Schools

1. Quality and Innovation (Learning Enhancement Programme, Holistic Progress Card, Innovative Pedagogies, Bagless days, Internships with Local artisans, Capacity building etc.)
2. Beneficiary oriented entitlements under RTE Act. 100% of PM SHRI Schools will receive Science and Math Kits.
3. Annual School Grants (Composite School grants, Library grant, Sports grant)
4. Early Childhood Care and Education including Balvatika and Foundational Literacy and Numeracy
5. Equity and Inclusion including provision of safe and appropriate infrastructure for girls and CWSN.
6. Encouraging flexibility in choice of subjects offered to students.
7. Encouraging mother tongue/local languages as medium of instruction using technological interventions to help bridge language barriers.
8. ICT, smart classrooms and digital libraries for using digital pedagogy. 100% of the PM  SHRI Schools will be covered under ICT, smart classrooms and digital initiatives.

10. Vocational interventions & Enhancing internship / entrepreneurship opportunities especially with local industry. Mapping of skills with developmental projects/nearby industry and develop courses/curriculum accordingly.
11. Saturation approach will be adopted to develop these schools with all modern facilities. Science labs, Library, ICT facility and Vocational labs etc. will be provided to all the schools.

13. Further, the scheme envisages convergence with existing schemes /Panchayati Raj Institutions/ Urban Local bodies and community participation for infrastructure upgradation of the school and creation of facilities.

PM SHRI Schools Apply Procedure

1. Schools can self-apply on the scheme’s website.
2. The three-step selection process for PM SHRI Schools:
3. States or territories implement NEP in full, and the Center helps schools achieve quality assurance.
4. PM-SHRI applicants will be chosen using basic criteria. Pool schools must tackle challenges. Conditions are checked physically.
5. The chosen schools would compete against one another in an effort to meet the challenging conditions set by the central government.

PM Shri School Login for National/ State/ District users

• Any registered national, state or district user who wishes to log in must visit the PM SHIRI Schools official website.
• On the homepage, the login button for national or state, and district users must be clicked.
• Thereafter, the user must input their registered cellphone number on a new page.
• The OTP will then be sent, and the user must confirm its receipt.
• The user will then be successfully logged in.

PM Shri School Login for School Users

1. School users who want to log in must visit the PMC schools’ official website.
2. They must locate the login option for school users and click on it on the homepage.
3. A new page will load, and users must input the UDISC code and cell phone number of HM.
4. Then Click the OTP transmit button.
5. Accept the OTP and the user will successfully be logged in as a school user.
