NIOS cancels Class 12 exams due to Covid-19 \u00a0pandemic in the country, itis decided<\/span><\/h1>\n

NIOS : NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF OPEN SCHOOLING (NIOS)<\/strong><\/a> has been cancelled the NIOS<\/strong> Class 12 exams as per a notification 04 June 2021 . The move will benefit 1.75 lakh students and the results will be announced as per an objective criterion.<\/p>\n

The Public Examinations in Theory and Practical of Sr. Secondary Courses scheduled in June 2021 are hereby cancelled. The NIOS will devise a well-defined objective criteria for assessment in a time bound manner, said the notification. No. 30\/2021 dated 19\/05\/2021 and in <\/span>View of the prevailing situation of Covid-19 pandemic in the country, itis decided as follows:<\/p>\n

(1) The Public Examinations in Theory and Practical of Sr. Secondary Courses scheduled in June 2021 are hereby cancelled. The NIOS will devise a well defined objective criteria for assessment in a time bound manner.<\/p>\n

(2) Any learner who is not satisfied with the assessment will be given an option to appear in Public examinations or through On-Demand Examination (ODE) as and when situation becomes conducive to hold the examinations. In such circumstances, the result of the concerned learner in Public Examinations or in ODE will be treated as Final.<\/p>\n

The Regional Directors are requested to forward the notification to all. Study Centres and to upload the Notification on the Regional Centre’s website and also issue press release in the local dailies. This issues with the approval of the competent authority<\/p>\n
