महाराष्ट्राचे मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे यांनी नवीन अन्न योजना “शिवभोज थाली योजना 2021” सुरू केली आहे. महाराष्ट्र सरकारतर्फे राज्यातील गरजू लोकांच्या मदतीसाठी शिवभजन थाळी योजना सुरू केली आहे. असे बरेच लोक आहेत ज्यांना एक वेळचे भोजन परवडत नाही. साथीच्या आजारात सरकारने गरजू लोकांच्या मदतीसाठी ही योजना सुरू केली.

ही योजना महाराष्ट्र सरकारने 2020 मध्ये सुरू केली होती. या योजनेच्या मदतीने सरकारला गरीब लोकांना सवलतीच्या दरात थाळी देण्याची इच्छा होती. लोक या थाळी जवळच्या मदत केंद्रांकडून प्रथम 10 रुपयांत विकत घेऊ शकतात, जे नंतर बदलून 5 रुपये करण्यात आले. शिवभोज थाळी योजनेअंतर्गत सर्व जिल्ह्यात ठराविक वेळेत कॅन्टीन किंवा केंद्रे सुरू केली जातील, जे खाद्य थाळी वा लंच बॉक्स वाटप करतील. ही वेळ 12 ते 2 वाजेपर्यंत ठेवली गेली आहे.
