उच्चतर माध्यमिक परीक्षा में भौतिकी और गणित के साथ विज्ञान वर्ग में कम से कम 55% अंक प्राप्त करना या कुल मिलाकर कम से कम 55% अंकों के साथ अनिवार्य विषय के रूप में भौतिकी और गणित के साथ व्यावसायिक पाठ्यक्रम (X + 2 स्तर) उत्तीर्ण। किसी भी मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थान से कम्प्यूटर एप्लीकेशन पर छह माह का प्रशिक्षण।
