Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the  UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC. 

However, candidates, who are, or have been awarded Ph. Experience in Installation and configuring software and hardware,  manage network servers and technology tools, set up accounts and  workstations, monitoring performance, troubleshoot issues and  outages, ensure security through access controls, backups and  firewalls, upgrade systems with new releases and models, develop  expertise to train staff on new technologies, knowledge of databases,  networks (LAN, WAN), patch management, system security (e.g.  intrusion detection systems), data backup/recovery, familiarity with  various operating systems and platforms, etc.
