NHS Indian Doctors Recruitment 2024: When we hear the name of Britain, a picture of a prosperous country stands in our mind. Its National Health Service is considered among the best in the world. But this is a few years ago. Currently, the state of health care in Britain is very bad. There is a huge shortage of doctors in Britain. Britain has sought India’s help to overcome this deficiency. Britain needs Indian doctors. For this, the UK agency National Health Service (NHS) has launched an initiative.
Under this initiative, Britain is going to recruit 2 thousand doctors from India. This recruitment will be done on expeditious basis. For this, doctors will be trained in India. The first batch of 2000 doctors from India, who will join the UK National Health Service, will be posted to hospitals in Britain after 6 to 12 months of postgraduate training. Doctors who complete the training will be exempted from the Professional and Linguistic Assessment Board (PLAB) exam to gain employment in the UK.
