1. Reservoir Engineer

Eligibility Criteria For ARA Petroleum Job Vacancies | ARA Petroleum Oman Jobs 2022 

• The position requires a University degree in Petroleum/Reservoir Engineering (MSc and PhD preferred).
• Minimum 6-10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with demonstrated Reservoir studies/surveillance/performance optimization expertise in oil and gas fields.
• Experience in transient good test interpretation, material balance modeling, and performance prediction of vertical and horizontal wells.
• Experience in numerical reservoir simulation, history matching, and field development plans.
• Experienced in infill and workover wells tasks.
• Must have strong teamwork skills. Experience working in a multicultural environment is a plus.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with peers, less experienced staff, field staff, and management
• Must be familiar with reserves evaluation, classification, and booking.
• Experience working on oil/gas fields and numerical reservoir simulation.
• Desirable to have experience in reservoir fluid sampling, fluid property modeling, routine, and special core analysis.
• Knowledge of EOR techniques.
• Experience in uncertainty analysis and risk assessment/management.
