First Prelims Exam and Second Mains Exam. After the prelims exam, a cut off is issued and the candidate who passes this exam is considered eligible for the main exam. Interview round is given to the candidates who clear the mains exam.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The prelims exam is divided into three parts English Language, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The total time for the exam is 1 hour. The exam is of total 100 marks and there is negative marking in this exam. 0.25 percent marks will be deducted from the marks obtained for every wrong question.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">For example, if the question is of 4 marks, you will be deducted 1 mark if you answer wrongly.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The time duration of mains exam is more than prelims. The marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II), both in the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in Phase-III for preparing the final merit list. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be added for preparing the final merit list for selection.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">SBI PO Final Selection Process:<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Candidates must qualify separately in both <strong>Phase-II<\/strong> (Main Examination) and <strong>Phase-III<\/strong> (Group Exercise &amp; Interview) to be considered for final selection.
